A pixie is a mythical creature of folklore. Pixies are considered to be particularly concentrated in the high moorland areas around Devon. Pixies may be small, but they are rich in magical power. They often use their powers to bring a smile to the face of a human friend. A horse brass is a brass plaque which was used for the decoration of horse harness gear, especially for shire and parade horses. Horse Brasses became very popular in England between the mid-19th century until their decline alongside the use of the draft horse, but they have now become a collectors item and they make lovely wall hanging and often can be found decorating pub and Inn walls.
