misterwaterface $600? The gen 3 touch was released 2009-09-09 in 32 and 64GB models. It was discontinued 2010-09-09. It came with a 30-pin to USB A charging/data cable and ear buds. It sold for $299 throughout the year (64 GB for $399). This one looks to be in excellent condition! Concern only for a 14 year old battery, and 3rd gen can no longer connect to Apple's server (no safari connect) due to Apple's manuvering.

palmbeachvibe @misterwaterface I had this checked out with Apple and their genius bar said that it was in excellent working condition and needed no repairs.

misterwaterface I'm not insinuating it needs repairs. Battery life will of course degrade with age, and connectivity is due to flash being discontinued about 4 years ago. Gen 3's will be fine for music and transfering music by other means. This unit looks to be in way better condition than most used. Cheers.

misterwaterface And I apologize. I mis-spoke about safari. It is the icloud sign-in that is no longer accessible, not due to Gen 3 iPod, but that Apple will no longer let it connect to its server, so one can't add apps, etc. Some of the installed apps may be affected in this was as well. But it can be used without an icloud sign-in.
