misterwaterface This is a bit misidentified. This is the "Click Wheel" that was released in May of 2004 in 20GB and 40GB versions (A1059). In October of 2004 Apple upgraded it and added a color screen, photo capability, and an s-video output on the bottom and released 40 and 60GB versions (A1099). It was called the "Photo" iPod by Apple, and both are consider a Gen 4, but have the important differences. This is 20GB, not color, and no s-video output, so it is the Gen 4 "Click Wheel" iPod, not the "Photo" ipod.

misterwaterface Although it is monotone blue, it is not considered color, as that is the only hue.

misterwaterface I can't make out the model number in your picture of the rear as it is blurry, but it looks like it is the A1059, a "Click Wheel" model number.
