hamoncito No it's all done by IMEI number. We would just take the IMEI number and unlock it. When its done we would email you and you'd then need to restore the phone through iTunes. After the restore the phone is unlocked

hamoncito @jaeevee well let me clarify. I'm not POSITIVE if he's scamming me. But I bought the phone from him on Monday (paid through PayPal) and he said he sent it on Monday. So I asked him for a tracking number. I paid shipping through Posh so he should have a tracking number if he truly sent the phone. But he refuses to give me one. All he keeps saying is I sent it I sent it. But if he used the Posh tracking label, they'd have sent me an email when it went out you know? It's now Thursday morning and I still have nothing. Not even an email from posh saying it went out or a tracking number from him. Just fishy

hamoncito @jaeevee after going back a d forth for days with him he finally said "oops, when I took the box to the post office I forgot to put the slip on it so you're phone has been at the post office , do you still want me to ship it?" I told him sure. But I had already opened a claim through PayPal on him. He asked me to close it before he ships the phone. I said no. So he ended up not shipping it and I got a refund. Something shady. Not sure if it was an honest mistake or if I just caught it early.

gettumgirl Whew that's a lot to read threw!...ok first thing first lesson learnt right ...not sure if I'm going to tag up this entire page....@hamoncito ...thank God for instincts...however when trading or using PP..you should go after trade /PP history with your clients...it never fails to blow me away with how people get so caught up in the low price of items then it turns into a frenzy...it's still business we are not your friends....these are business transactions...I remember buying a a Valentino vintage bag from this older woman on here and I asked her twice was it authentic and was it polyurethane ..because it did not look leather ...she assured me...and because of her being much older I accepted...well when it got here it was neither and got a refund...maybe a honest mistake or not???...the point is we are not friends and no matter the appearance we have to ask many questions...

gonzo2three @gettumgirl @hamoncito @ @whiteshadow007 Add me to the list of folks who got scammed by Subaru. I sent Subaru $135 on 3/24 for two pairs of shoes. To date I have received no shoes, no refunds, just a bunch of excuses after excuses. I was in communication with him the entire time. He claimed his GF(addilove) sent the shoes to the wrong address, then he got the shoes back, PROMISED me he'd send them next day. Never did. He sent me numerous bogus tracking #'s, just lies, after lies. I could go on, but why. Yesterday was the final day for me. Have to open claim with PP. Side note: idk how many iPhones or other phones he has. But last weekend he & I were talking about trading phones as well. By the sounds of it. I think he was offering up the phone/s he was supposed to be have been trading with you folks. They were iPhones. A WHT 8g and a BLK 16g. I wouldn't put it passed him tho. The shoes he was supposed to have been sending me since 3/24, he was just offering them up for trade on Friday to @yungfelipe for his air Jordan 3's "fire reds" . When I asked Subaru what's up with that he claimed it was from 2-3 weeks ago. Yet his comment said "1 day ago" .... All lies!! Subaru swears he's not a scammer, he may be right too. Cuz I believe what he's doing is called being a straight THIEF!

They already issued my refund. 👍 I think you said it best @gettumgirl, we are all not friends, this is business transaction. And as much as we want to give people the benefit of the doubt. We all need to ask a lot of questions and trust our instincts. Even w/out being friends, it's nice to see strangers helping out each other. By banding together and sharing information and doing the right thing when other people are doing shady things. Refreshing reminder that there is more good people in the world then bad. kelvin Hey everyone, watch out for @phonesforsale aka zarate. He is a scammer selling phones for way cheap and I fell into it. I was going to buy a brand new galaxy s4 for $400 from him. We came to an agreement where I would pay half now and the other half when I receive the phone, so I paid over pp and once he received payment I never heard from him again. He as blocked me on pm because I would keep writing SCAMMER all over his posts to warn people. I've opened a claim thru pp so he has until the 24th to respond, lucky I didn't do family and friends as he asked. Please warn people about @phonesforsale
