the pictures don't do justice. these are deep plum in color. one side is matte with some texture, the reverse side has slighty more sheen and softer texture. Very opaque, they could be used for room darkening. I used them as shower drapes in my high ceiling bathroom (with shower curtain of course!) Stunning!
