@jleelopez I can take some measurements for you! I also wear a size 5 (27”) in jeans so I can try this on and tell you how it fits me! I know the waist of the skirt is more fitted but the rest of it is pretty loose and open because of its shape!

@jleelopez hi, I am so sorry for the delay. The waist is high waisted and measures to about 12.8 inches laying flat. It is quite high waisted though, sits about a few inches above belly button. The rest of the skirt is flared/flowy because of its shape.
