Comes with zip-in inserts to fit you throughout your pregnancy, postpartum, and for both front and back baby-wearing. Adult hood is removable. Also includes a matching hood for baby, all in great condition and super easy to use, wear, and switch out when necessary. I wore this through a New England fall and winter. I'd describe it as mid-heavy-- not lightweight, but not as warm as a parka.
