I wore this in Minneapolis winters - Any day above 25/30. It’s not filled, but the fabric is tightly woven. I realize that’s relative to the wearer, but hopefully that’s helpful!
Good condition. Slight pill under arms & at sides, very inconspicuous because of fabric. Button thread is a bit loose. Can easily be sewn.

Are the sleeves roomy enough to wear a thick sweater under?

@jmcme I would say yes, but I think that also depends on how voluminous the sweater is and how big each individuals arms are. It is a slimmer coat but not tight, if that makes sense. If helpful, I'm in Minneapolis, so frequently wore sweaters under & it worked for me.
