Purchased earlier this year. I always used the loop on the shoulder to help drape the scarf but you can just throw the scarf over the shoulder without using the loop. I cut the care instructions tag because it was too visible. Has some pilling from wear. Gently worn. Ready to rotate it out. It has one center button and a smaller inner button to secure the collar.
