@monroedean they are mid to low waist, and about the fit 😓 I can't give an accurate neutral answer, but maybe if this can help: my opinion since I'm a latina who gained many extra pounds after pregnancy (they don't work for me) I have tiny chest and big low body kind of curvy body 🙈, if you are skinny in hips, size 6 in the small side, it will be loose on you (which is supposed to be the intented fit for this jeans). Hope this helps. 😊
