Authentic, preowned, vintage Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche jacket, likely made for the Ballet Russes aka Russian collection in the late 70s. Made from red velvet, it's trimmed in black braid and fastens with button/loop closures. Fully-lined in black satin. An iconic vintage piece from Yves Saint Laurent that's so easy to wear and style. NOTE that skirt shown in image 3 is not included with this sale, but shown for styling inspiration - and is being sold separately. Made in France. Dry clean only. Made from cotton/viscose. Tagged size 38. Approximate measurements, taken flat and doubled where appropriate: shoulders - 16in, bust - 37in, waist - 36in, shoulder to hem - 24.25in, sleeves - 23in. Preowned/vintage (50+ years old) with signs of use and prior wear: rubs, flat areas and spots to velvet in places, most notable as shown in last photo. Wrinkled from storage, would benefit from a professional dry clean and press.
