The beautifully hand painted African American ceramic girl figurine sits and ponders the world in front of her. She dons her school clothes; a polka dot dress with red under shirt, she is shoeless and free, she has a beautiful head of natural curls decorated with colorful ribbons. She is bright eyed and imaginative. There are no indications of artist to be seen with the naked eye or under jewelers loop.
