About the Authors Mark Vancil is president of Rare Air Media, a publishing and communications company based in Winnetka, Illinois, that has produced dozens of award-winning books and custom publishing programs for sports, publishing and entertainment clients. Alfred Santasiere III is the director of publications for the New York Yankees. A graduate of College Misericordia, Al started his career with the Yankees working with their Triple A team the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He then worked for the Baltimore Orioles. After the 2002 season working for the Miami Dolphins, Santasiere returned to baseball and became the senior editor of publications at Yankee Stadium.
