morningpotato @andie777 laying flat edge to edge the measurement is 13in but the waist has a bit of a curve to it. Not enough to add any more inches, just barely more of a give to it. I added another picture to the listing to illustrate what I mean by this. Lengthwise the shortest part of it is a little over 2ft and the longest part it is almost 2ft 1in. I'm 5'5 and it reaches just under my knees :)
