First thing it does power on and the battery holds a charge. It can read discs there's a disc currently in the camera but I couldn't figure out how to open up the camera to get the disc out. I hit the switch that says open I heard a noise but it didn't open up maybe I'm doing something wrong. The handle is peeling a little bit you can probably rub off all the loose parts and it will be fine. The battery sits in there pretty loosely I don't know if it's supposed to be like that but it's pretty easy for it to pop out possibly fall out if the camera moves too much. The screen also feels like it's on there loosely it doesn't click into place when you close it so shaking the camera would open it up no problem.
