neimanslover I would like to know how the tops of the sandal are made. Is there mother of pearl on top also?

shunter @neimanslover they are fabric tops with a decorative buckle, they are attached by fabric brads. The mother of pearl is inlaid in the wood. I am out of town until Saturday and would be happy to take closer photos when I get back.

rosalees5 @shunter these shoes are beautiful. I wonder if your feet slip around in them and how comfortable are they? Are they the kind of shoes that make you feel like you are walking on planks of wood or are they shaped that they allow your foot to move with a normal flow? I really think they are beautiful, but they are so shiny I fear they may be slippery inside???

shunter @rosalees5 I'm not entirely sure how to answer your questions. I did not find them difficult to walk in, but my sister hated them. My heal would leave the wood, but I never slid out. I also found that as long as my foot did not become exceedingly sweaty, I had no issue with them being slippery.
