Wooden Cat Figure, secret box excellent vintage piece

This is such a unique wooden find. I adore cats and also little secret hiding places to stash items (sort of the way cats like to tuck themselves away in unseen places.) It’s a wooden cat, but it’s also a tiny secret box. The cat measures 4.5” tall x 5” long x 2.5” wide. The box inside measures about 2.5” x 1.5” and 1/2” deep. You could stash any number of things here! Secret codes, an engagement ring, love notes. Very one of a kind! The cat’s tail acts as a handle of sorts. The box is easy to open, yet you can also easily move it by picking up the sculpture by the tail handle, and the box stays shut. I think if you were really careful, you could use as a funky purse. So fun.
