Wood and Metal Wand w/ Clear Quartz Crystal

Vintage item, wooden wand w/ metal and glass accents, spiral tapered shape, clear quartz crystal at the tip. I got this at a metaphysical/crystal shop in SC almost 15 years ago. Unfortunately, I don't recall what kind of wood or metal it is (looks like it at least has a mahogany finish). I think the warm-colored bits at the top and bottom are glass, but they could be another stone. The crystal is 100% quartz for sure! Looks to be a slight chip on the crystal, but I believe it's natural.
