@cindyborg Hi Cindy. I'm more an 8. They
worked great for me for a several years, but I broke the bone at the top of my foot and gained weight and just skied different. This past season my feet were moving too much inside and I bruised my toes from the movement. They were my FAVORITE ski boot. So comfortable, and relatively easy to get on and off...but I went to a boot a size smaller...much tighter than I'm used to...but it worked well to complete out this snow season last month.

As an 8.5, there should be less of that extra room. All the clips are super adjustable, even moving them with a tool if needed, so it's very flexible to "custom fit" it.
