The watch battery was replaced with a standard battery and is operating as is. The watch will run until the battery dies just like any normal watch would. With that said the eco drive solar part does not charge the battery. If you change the battery to the solar battery at a later time it will then charge using the solar system. The difference is the battery and that's it. Watch crystal has scuffs and scratches due to normal wear. Item has power and running.
