These are cute sandals but were worn on the beach and the salt water tarnished the buckles. These are reposhed. Don’t fit me well. Leather is in good condition and there is light peeling up on the heal. See pictures.

megibler @isabaela hmm. This is interesting. Not sure. These have good arch and strong straps. I just looked up the person I bought from. She said they were her daughters and she wore them on the beach and that is what tarnished the buckles. She is a hi seller and has a large closet. (Doesn’t sell many Birkenstocks). I think these are legit!

jenco7 @megibler Hi Megan, I don't believe they are authentic. The straps seem like the low quality material I see on the fake ones. I would contact posh about getting a return! The footbed is also a different material (not suede). The very back of the footbed shows that it isn't a well defined shape that Birks have.

megibler @jenco7 ok. Thank you ladies!it has been about a month since I ordered from posh. Will they accept a return? Maybe that’s why they didn’t fit me well?!

jenco7 @megibler if you look at my 2nd picture, you can see that the straps are flat and wide compared to the authentic ones too. Also, if you look at the side of these, birkenstock seems to be like a cookie cutter stamp rather than a full stamp if that makes sense :)

jenco7 @megibler I got a refund on mine about 3 months later when I found out they were fakes! It's against the rules to have counterfeit items so I'm sure they will :)
