edski Hi, I just noticed your conversations.. in your last statment, I would question the gold weight.. if you minus crystal, mechanism inside and the frame arond it inside, which is not gold..only the case is gold and that can be 30%-40% percent off the total weight. That's what I've seen written by many so caled experts in watch department. Truly best way to determine, would be disassemble it and weight it, which no one will do it..but on average gold cases are 1/3 off the total weight
