mamastimetoposh @pamchandler01 anybody who has owned a Rolex knows that the watch constantly needs to be moving in order to “charge” the mainspring or the watch will stop. I’m assuming the seller didn’t have a watch winder. The second hand not moving shouldn’t be any concern of anyones, as it won’t be moving when you receive it since the “charge” only lasts about 2 days. You will need to properly wind it and set it to your current time. & Poshmark will confirm authenticity so that’s not a worry

mamastimetoposh @pamchandler01 I have a 6 watch winder from Tumi but if you are just starting to build your collection I think Amazon has single watch winders for pretty cheap. My first winder was cheap and I sold it on a different platform. It’s actually really hard on the inner mechanisms for you to let it “stop time” and re-wind it. A Watch winder will help preserve the inner springs and make your Rolex last longer with less frequent repairs!

But yes, they’re these little boxes with a watch holder and they spin every so often to charge the innerspring. It helps preserve the life of the Rolex & makes for less repairs. A lot of people don’t know this because they don’t tell you it when you buy one. I try to let everyone know 🙂
