Rare FULL SET! Excellent vintage condition, all 16 volumes. Each stapled softcover book in this classic set provides detailed descriptions of period clothing and full-page line drawings, ready for research, coloring, painting! From the 1947-1949 series. These were given to me when my mom returned from her first trip to the UK in 1969 - I was 8 years old. See photos for more and read notes. All volumes are in excellent condition inside, and have rarely been opened. Light wear overall. No rips, tears or dog ears. Unpaginated. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Covers have minimal creasing, edge wear, light rubbing. Some light tanning. Notes: Volume One has lamination wrinkles see pics, Volume 9 arrived unlaminated, cover is still fine, Color Guide is complete with volumes, 4-16 but Vols 1-2-3 have no color fold-out Color Guides. Each book measures 9” tall x 6” wide with 28 (unpaginated) pages. All costume plates are clean and unmarked, except one. They have been stored upright as a collection for over 40 years. Really this set is in almost pristine condition. All stapled bindings are firm. Pages are in great shape.
