Winlar Caftan Satin Red Blue Gold Boho Stripe

Winlar label caftan in satin with a blue, red and gold watercolor-look diagonal stripe print. This style does not cinch at the waist but you can easily add ribbons inside the front and/or back waist with iron on hem tape to avoid stitches showing through. The gold Lurex piping detail at the center of the v neckline had started to unravel so I reinforced it with thread that is a good color match but is not metallic. See last photo for a close up. In that photo you can also see just to your left there was a snip in the fabric. I ironed a small backing to this so it will stay flat and not fray or spread. The piece is in otherwise excellent condition. The quality of caftans can vary greatly and in my experience with ~20 of them I would say this is in the top 5 for fabric quality and contruction, not to mention it is a less common print and colorway. You can wear it poolside to stay cool when you've had enough sun (enjoy the breeze!) but it's so versatile you could throw on a pair of gold heels and be evening ready.
