Hello there;
Approx 12.5” across, zipped up.
That is how I have always been taught to measure pit-to-pit so if u measure differently I can convert or do a diff measurement for you:)

I just realized my mistake in this response;
Yikes- the pit to pit is 19.5-20”; not 12.5”
I would just like that clarified for any prospective buyers & I am happy to add a photo of the measurement.
I believe my phone auto checked & I didn’t double check :/
