bluetransam Hi! I am interested in your top and jacket. I have a 40” bust and wondered how much stretch are on both these items to ensure they will fit right, can you please let me know your opinion? Thank you!

sharonburdick @bluetransam Double the measurement: When measuring a garment, the armpit to armpit measurement is usually doubled to get the chest size. Room for comfort: To ensure a comfortable fit, you usually want a garment to be a couple of inches larger than your actual bust measurement. For a 40" bust, you would ideally want a garment with a pit to pit measurement closer to 18-19 inches to account for the necessary ease and fit.
