clk5 Hi, so the butter doesn’t seep through the porous marble?

kathleen_gracee @clk5 Hi, not to sound nerdy but, marble is not really "porous" (unless you're using very small molecular solvents on the micro-scale...which would only stain the marble not seep through - that would take years of constant contact). Fat globules in butter are orders of magnitude larger than that, and also act as a perfect hydrophobic coating for the inside of any stone, especially marble. I've used it for years and never had any issues.
