Hi there, so you’d say this is in gently worn, excellent used condition? I bought this same shirt the other day but was bummed because the graphic was a lot more faded than the seller’s photos. I’m so not trying to be condescending, I am just wanting clarity, ha! Thank you, darling!

I typically don't like to describe my items as being in excellent condition because my definition of excellent always seems to be alot different than other people's. So I usually describe them as being in good condition. (which I know is pretty vague... sorry about that)

@sallymannder so I bought this a while back from Nordstrom when they were having this awesome wildfox sale online. I went through a huge faze where i was obsessed with wildfox. I ended up buying 4 sweaters that night...and I hate to admit it but i ended up only wearing those sweaters just a very small handful of times.
Aside from those, I have a bunch of other wildfox sweaters that I bought used. and I actually wear those WAAY

@sallymannder more than the new ones I got. Ive always been so affraid of staining or somehow ruining them that i ended up just admiring them on hangers like artwork.
I worried about wearing them because washing them ended up being such a long & tedious process that I just avoided wearing the newer ones all together. I hand wash them, very gently, and then hang them to dry. Or i would lay them on a towel, roll them up tightly and squeeze as much water out as possible, then hang them.

@sallymannder I know it doesn't sound too bad... But after a while it's just too much of a hassel. And I don't really trust my washing machine to be gentle too.
also the artwork on wildfox sweaters are really faded in general. So even when their new the pictures can look pretty dull. Especially if the picture doesn't have any black or if the image doesn't have an outline. Do you mind if I ask which sweater you ended up getting?

@___jen Hi Jen! Yes, Wildfox BBJs are so fun. I use Dreft and hand wash them and lay flat to dry. The sweater I bought was this exact one - the ice cream cone. I have lots of Wildfox too and the one I got was unfortunately exponentially more faded than the average Wildfox, and the listing photos were mostly stock photos. I should’ve asked questions, ha!

Hi! I know sweater is pre-owned, but can you tell me what kind of condition it is in? Are there any signs of wear? Hard to tell from pics sometimes but does it have any fading or discoloration of ice cream cone print artwork? Any yellowing, stains, holes, snags, runs in fabric, other defects? Staining at cuffs, neck, hem? Is there any pilling in the knit? Is it stretched out at all possibly at shoulders, neck, cuffs, or hem or misshapen at all from being on a hanger or washed?

Any shrinking from original size when purchased from washing? Any odor issues like cigarette smoke, mildew, pets, musty, mothballs, etc.? Is it see thru? What is the fabric made of? What do the care instructions say? Is it dry clean only or hand wash?Sorry for all the questions! Thanks so much! 😃🍦💗

@pinkypink14 No need to apologize for the questions... I totally understand. My description is really vague. Are you familiar with wildfox jumpers? after the first wash these sweaters will always have a little bit of pilling. it's just their design. The image doesn't seem to have any fading, but i can add more pics for you in a few mins. As for the cuffs & neckline, there are no stains or discoloration.

@pinkypink14 The image has no fading & looks exactly the same way it did when I first got it. and there's no shrinking or stretching at all. I hand wash all my wildfox in cold water, very gently & then hang dry. I'm very careful with these sweaters, & i dont trust my washer to be gentle enough. in fact I think I've only worn this one a very very small handful of times. I'm terrified of ruining my lighter colored sweaters so I ended up just admiring them like artwork rather than wearing them.

Hi Jen! Thanks so much for getting back to me.😃 Really appreciate the info. So just to confirm there are no stains, marks, snags, holes, tears, dirt on cuffs especially at bottom of cuffs, sleeves, or collar? Or any other defects? Has it been stored on a hanger or folded? I ask because sometimes the shoulders get misshapen from the hangers with these very thin types of sweatshirts/sweaters. I am familiar with Wildfox sweatshirts as I have a couple of them so I know about the pilling.

Sounds like you have taken very good care of this sweatshirt. And you said that the ice cream print image looks just as good as when you first bought it new? To confirm, the sweatshirt is a light color pink correct? I know they also made it in white. Sometimes very hard to tell from people’s listing photos if the sweatshirt is light pink or white? And it looks to be of a thin fabric? Is it at all see-through?

@ftpinkypink14 Hello! so sorry for the delay in my response. Yes! it's light pink, and there are no "see -through areas at all. No stretched out areas either. it also doesn't have any stains, and both the neckline & the cuffs dont have any discoloration. Overall, it's in good condition
