Zips up the side with a button closure. Elastic waist in the back for some stretch. In my opinion, it’s shorter than what the picture shows, but I like to wear it very high on the waist. Only worn 3 times and no known flaws. The medium fit me comfortably as a size 10, but there was wiggle room for a size up or down.
