animalover4ever Hello! Again thanks for your patience🩷. The skirt does tighten a little with the lace up detail but, I’m not sure if it’s enough. You said your typical a 1X? I think the brand sometimes can definitely run in the smaller size with clothes. I’m a Xl , I can try on and see how it fits me. Sorry not sure that would help much😂.
