Wonderful boy DJ his mama put him in the pound when he started going blind. Totally blind when I got him hair so matted had to shave to the skin, he had skin infections. Got his eyes fixed then everything that could go wrong did blind again. Most wonderful Shih Tzu ever he’s my baby have three of them love them to death

roxannr83 we also rescue all of our animals and one of our oldest is completely blind now. Tootsie (a long haired Chihuahua) had a litter of pups and my daughter took the little female and she is going blind as well already too. Her vet said theirs is a hereditary disease. 😰 Poor babies.

dressedcat @roxannr83 thanks I do love quilting I show too we had DJ eyes fixed but he went blind anyway but they adjust to it better than we do for the little one the little felt pads you put on the back of pictures that are about 3/8” I put them on the door frames furniture legs etc with a drop of peppermint oil on them and they learn that smell means a bump so they go around especially if you get something new or move something Cat

dressedcat @prettyhotmess thank you I have three but he’s my buddy blind and stays next to my all day all night touching feels safe that way I think he had a pretty bad life before us
