Whiting Davis Mesh Art Deco Flapper Bag Purse, Enameled Hand Screened Vtg/Ant

Vintage/Antique Whiting & Davis Mesh Flapper Art Deco Purse Evening Bag It measures approx. 3 3/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches (Total with chain is approx. 11 1/2 inches). Whiting & Davis started enameling these bags in the 1920s. The photos are the best description for this bag as far as the mesh condition. There is wear/age use to the metal, and the mesh is pulling away a bit from the side, bottom part of the frame. It still hangs well without this being noticed. The kiss lock is not super snap tight, but it does close. For a bag that is approx. 100 years old, I think it has aged well. The metal Whiting and Davis tag is missing from the inside.
