White torrid maxi dress

Brand new size 14/16 special occasion dress with tags! I tried it on once. and my torso is too long. Would be best fit for someone with a shorter torso (I’m 5’9” for reference). Missed return window so not eligible for return to the store. It’s a size 1 per torrid sizing, I posted the measurement equivalents in the pictures. Size 1 at torrid is the same as a 14/16.
