lcadano Please provide measurements per panel; what size of rod does it take? Thanks 😊

lebadance How many panels are there, and the measurements, please. Are you also selling the rods? Thanks 🙏

karenklassanos @lebadance The panels are 54 inches wide by 69 1/2 inches long. They can be gathered to be as narrow as you need them. I can sell the hardware for an extra $10. It is special for the pockets that are sewn into the top and bottom of each panel. There are little brackets that get nailed into the door that hold the rods and the panels are stretched between the top and bottom

karenklassanos @lebadance there are three separate panels.

lebadance @karenklassanos I have 4 windows that open into the room… I would need to shorten them, I think… I need to measure them. I had a major flood, and haven’t moved back in yet. Thanks for the info. They look lovely.

lebadance @karenklassanos Well, I measured my casement windows, and I will have to get them shortened … hopefully that won’t cost too much. Do you have the measurements of the window one. Did you assemble them yourself? Can you take a photo, or a closeup of the ones you have , so I can see how , and where the rods are attached ? And what is the narrowest the rods can go? I think maybe I can make these work🤞thanks again for your help. Leba

lebadance @karenklassanos I can get the curtains shortened. Can the rods compress to 20” ? Or 22” at most. And the measurements of the window Curtains and rod? Please advise. Thanks again for your help.

karenklassanos @lebadance I'll measure the other panels for the window. I do have a picture but I have no idea how to send it. I'll have to make a new post on Poshmark and include the dimensions in order for you to see it. The rods for the French door panels are not usable for a window application. They are tiny and are attached to the doors below and above the glass panes in the doors. You would have to get traditional rods.

lebadance @karenklassanos my windows are “French windows “ they look like a smaller version of your doors. If the rods can be about 22”. , then they will work. If you have the window curtains measurements and rod size as well, I think I can make it work. I did see the bottom of the door where the rod is attached… my French windows and the same, except 24”X 59” I would attach the rods about 1” below top edge and 1” above bottom edge of windows, if the width can be 22” . Thanks again

karenklassanos @lebadance I have 2 window panels 61X61 each. 1 1/2 " pocket for standard rod. I have a rod if you need it. Generous hem could be let down. I have 6 rods and hardware for the 3 French door panels that will work. I'll post photo on Poshmark of window.

karenklassanos I just posted the picture of the window panels that match the other three.

karenklassanos If you can send dimensions of the all the French windows and the width, I can alter them at an additional cost. I would adjust the price of the panels to include the hardware, all rods and cost of alterations. When you get the package it'll be ready to install

lebadance @karenklassanos that sounds good… I wish you lived in Los Angeles… I have 8 French windows, and after the pipe break, I have no window coverings. 59” (L) X 24” (W) edge to edge. Border of frame is 2”. Is there a way to pay for your alterations separately, So you won’t have to pay fees, and I won’t have to pay tax, on the labor part. I was actually thinking of just getting the window panels a cutting them in half… but it wouldn’t be as pretty as the way you have it. Please advise. Thanks 🙏

karenklassanos @lebadance you have a total of 8 windows that are identical in size? Do they need to be stretched between 2 rods or can they hang from just one? I only have 6 of the rods. Will you want 1 panel on each window with no split in the middle like my French door panels in the photo? This platform won't let me use another way to get paid
Feb 03Reply
karenklassanos
karenklassanos There's so much yardage between the 5 different pieces, there has to be enough for your needs.
Feb 03Reply
karenklassanos
karenklassanos By cutting down the middle you wouldn't have the fullness shown in the photo of the window. Something to consider.

lebadance @karenklassanos yes, I know. The other room has 2 French windows , with a stationary window in between similar in size to the 2 windows if put together. If I just hung them from the top of the widow frame and let them hang loose… that might be ok for the dining room. Then I could use the window rod for the middle stationary widow. Too complicated??

lebadance @karenklassanos I just want to cover the window panes in the frame… I’m on the 2nd floor, so just need a little privacy. I could use curtain ties, pulled to one side like your window.

karenklassanos @lebadance in order to give you a total price I need details for each window. I want to be sure how I need to alter the panels. Then I can figure out what it would be with everything. If you want to try alternative to discuss try my name and the seventh letter of the alphabet mail. Do you understand

karenklassanos Hi again! I can send directions for the rods. It's simple, you'll see. I'll print the label and get everything together and send it out tomorrow. Send pictures when you've completed them! Your windows are gorgeous. Great light in your space. Karen
