@hts5 Hello! There are no defects! The material(s): The shell (outside ruffle part) is polyester and the lining is 91% polyester and 9% spandex. I feel like polyester has a bad rep -- this dress doesn't feel "plasticy" and is quite breathable compared to cheaper polyester.

The length of the dress from the neckline to the hem is 31.5 inches and the waist is 28 inches. Please let me know if you need additional measurements. :)
