lovedolly4 Hi, I think what you have are Sri Lanka moonstones. They are very much similar. The fire opal has colors from black to orange. 31% water inside which makes it look like fire. It is also possible that you have a Welo or other type of opal

cinnamon1111 @lovedolly4 Hi there, these are white fire opals. I get all my gems from a USA wholesaler. Fire opal does not exhibit much play of color like other varieties of opal. Fire opal can be translucent to transparent. I did check out your closet and the items you have as mexican opal they are cats eye beads along with your pearl bracelets they are not real pearls they are glass pearls which are faux pearls. I have the same pearl bracelets listed for $15 with a sterling silver clasp.oxox
