Westinghouse VINTAGE electric iron. Was grandma’s.

I remember her using it in the 50s but it’s way older than that. I plugged it in but it did not get hot. There is a control dial in the top but I did not want to push it for fear of breaking so it might work when the dial is moved. Has some rust bi did not try to remove. Bottom plate is rust free. It is quite heavy.
