Wellsville Cosmopolitan China - Surrey WLS 33 Pattern Restaurant Diner Ware - Set of 4 Oval Steak Plates Platters L: 9.5" x W: 8" This is heavy duty china from Wellsville China Company of Wellsville, Ohio in their Cosmopolitan line. The base color is a super vintage creamy white. The pattern is Surrey and features a black and grey fade rim, scalloped edge and detailed icons of a carriage and lamppost as shown. Interspersed among the icons are red fleur-de-lis. Great combination of color and unique look and restaurant ware. Tough pattern to find. These are 2 matching oval steak plates. Plates are in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of use. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on these pieces.
