karinrklein @elena4you Hi! Nope, no odors. It has remained in its dust bag for a long time. I purchased it in 2004 or 2005 from the LV store in the Ala Moana mall in Honolulu, HI. I have the receipt somewhere, but I've moved a lot since then (military life). Structurally, it's in excellent condition. I keep it filled with tissue paper in its dust bag. But, yes, it has been well loved and used a lot so the leather on the handles and base reflect that, as do the pen marks inside. :)
