chirocarly @ravensnation310 hi! Well, you definitely want to have a "meet the posher" link. So when you are in your closet in the app, at the very top is "about". You can tell a bit about yourself there. Also, you can create a new listing by hitting "sell". Have a pic of yourself or something on that listing.

chirocarly @manda1984 welcome!!! When the buyer receives,the item, they will usually accept it and then the funds are,deposited into your posh account. If after 3 days they havent accepted the purchase the funds will deposit automatically. Posh sends you a,shipping label, you print it and,package it. You can use your own box or get one from your post office that is "priority mail" not flat rate. Hope that helps!

I had decided to organize by color because I think it is visually pleasing, but I've seen closets organized by size (smallest to largest for example) (see @chicbirdie closet) and organized by category like "shoes" or "bags" like @fofam closet. Check those out and let me know what you think 😀

jcoletti Hi there! Your closet is beautiful. I'm new to this (just a few months). I love it. My question is how do you bundle? For example I saw in my closet that someone added 2 of my items to a bundle. So, am I suppose to do something with that or does she need to add one more item? Sorry - feels silly asking but I can't seem to figure it out.

chirocarly @jcoletti thank you so much! Thats a great question actually. A lot of buyers will add items to a bundle (which is an option on every listing) to keep them for later. Some buy, some do not :( you dont need to do anything, but sometimes ill go and share a couple items from their closet as a way of saying "hi"

chirocarly @jcoletti well seriously your closet looks so good. I love your bright, clear cover shots. The very biggest thing is to share. Share throughout the day, share to parties, share with others. Keep building a network. Add new listings when you can. Have you asked to host a party yet? That will help tremendously. It gives your closet so much exposure.

cbturner512 How do you get a variety of inventory? I haven't ventured into thrifting yet - I don't live in a huge city, so I'm not sure thrifting is going to be a good route. Also, do use your phone to photograph? Or a nice camera? I know my photos need some revamping. Thanks so much!

chirocarly @cbturner512 hi! Yes thrifting is good. Check out yard sales. The wholesale portal. I do have a wholesale business license also. I just use my phone. I investedin a simple lighting kit, but natural lighting is great too. Im definitely trying to improve my pics. Work in progress! ;)

What is the best strategy for sharing my closet and others in order to increase sales and posh friends? What time should I share, how many things should I share at once, how often, etc. - trying to figure out all of those things! Any advice you have would be so helpful! God bless :)

chirocarly @toripetry oh hi!!! Its so nice to meet you. I find the best time to share is in the evening. And on weekends. Some poshers feel its best to share 5 of yours and then 5 of another closet. And repeat. There certainly is an algorhythm to it. When i first started, i followed lots of people. And,many followed me,back. Share with poshers with high share numbers.

chirocarly @lynzer32 hi! Haha. there is no rule. Its totally cool. Its called reposhing. And it happens frequently. Some poshers think you should let the seller know that you are reposhing, but i dont think thats necessary at all. Put a little cushion in your price so that you can make your money back ;) and just be sure to describe it well "fits small" etc

chirocarly @cbturner512 thank you, Courtney! I source from many different places. I'm still figuring out what works best. Some people will check out thrift stores, eBay, auction sites. One thing that I learned at poshfest that really stuck with me is that you should really be thinking about your type of customer. What style person will be shopping from you. I think once I figure that out a little better, my boutique items will do better. It seems that the successful boutique owners have a niche, KWIM?

Right now I'm just listing random things of my own and things other people have given me. Eventually, those things will run out & I'll need to settle in on more of a style I guess. I have a business license so i do keep track of my expenses, inventory, income, etc. I do believe that online sellers have to report profit, but i am of no help there. Im sorry. If you google "online sellers taxes" there will be a,couple of helpful articles. I think you have to have a certain amount,of income for it to be taxable?

chirocarly @chelleknel oh yes! Thats a tricky one. Anything you share goes to the top of your closet, so you kind,of have to think,it through and organize it that way. You could certainly ask to borrow someones image. The worst they can,say is no. I make my own with the Cymera app. There are many good apps available to,make images/text.

Some people do divide their closet up into "dresses" "tops" etc. you can definitely do that. You would just have to keep it organized.

I dont shop from the feed so,if i follow people that dont particularly have my style its not a big deal to me. Some may like their feed to truly be closets they love, but it doesnt matter to me.

chirocarly @annettebonsigno hi! You don't mean actual email right? Just checking. If someone makes you an offer on a bundle you can either accept or counter back or decline. If you noticed that someone made a bundle you can make them an offer on the bundle if you'd like. Then they get the notification and can accept or counter.

My biggest thing is I don’t know which sells more, or which generates more income in terms of the list high & offer great discounts, or to go close to your minimum low from the gate.

i_made_that I’m in sales myself, and it’s a toss in the air between ppl used to and expecting a discounted price and don’t believe your margin is low (so you mark high & discount) or people who aren’t a fan of the “games” and just want that low price first. Which group gets more follows and shares, and which accumulates more income? I know sourcing is an important factor like if it’s yard sale cheap or gw outlet accumulated.... but I’m curious as to which you think is the best direction to take?

chirocarly @gogh18 hi! I find that a high percentage of buyers make an offer, so if there is a profit you are wanting on an item, you may want to price higher. I think it's just the mentality of getting a good deal, ya know? I also follow a lot of the bigger Poshers on Instagram and they have really great tips. Thank you for saying HI! ❤️
