Wedgwood Jemima Puddle-Duck Porcelain Oval Bank/Money Box ~ Beatrix Potter 2003

This beautiful porcelain oval bank/money box features the charming Jemima Puddle-Duck character based on the beloved Beatrix Potter children's book. The multi-color design presented in subtle pastel shades features  Jemima and her chicks, adding a touch of whimsy to this collectible item. The top has a money slit and features a line from the book, "Jemima was not used to flying. She landed rather heavily." which is further accented by a feathered nest and bumble bee. The bottom has a plastic stopper that slides securely into place. Made by Wedgwood in 2003, this piece is a must-have for any little one just starting their life's journey. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The bank measures approximately 3-1/8" long, 2-3/4" wide, and stands 2-7/8" tall. Offered without the original box.
