Extended mat area to catch any food and water your pet drops while eating. Instructions I received are for the double high feeding system but I purchased the double low feeding system with the extended mat. Dishwasher safe. Instructions same for all systems. My fur baby did not like it from the first second so it’s been sitting in my house unused. Like brand new.
