classic_ny @randy1951 Dear Ms. Linda M. Thank you for your interest in the Waterford crystal. There has been no damage to the glassware. One glass has never been used and bears the original label. The others were used very seldom on holidays, only washed by hand. All but two were gifts during the 90s, the other two were purchased by our family. They all came from Bloomingdales NYC 59th. Their glassware department can probably give you the correct years based on the label image.

classic_ny If you are in the metropolitan area, you are welcome to inspect them in NYC. I do worry about shipping, but would surely pack them carefully and securely. I believe Poshmark will authenticate them upon request. Stay safe and well. Best, ClassicNY.net

randy1951 @classic_ny I just was wondering why priced so high though. I would expect $25-35 per glass. Is it a complete set? Millennials are not that interested in China or crystal.. change of the times. Lol. I’m just too old to start collecting. My toddlers somehow broke mine and my candlesticks when I was younger.

classic_ny @randy1951Dear Ms. M. I surely agree with you that times have changed - and I fear millennials bear responsibility for several of the good adaptations, and so many of the less desirable changes in our culture. As to the disinterest in serious art, music, let alone fine sterling or glassware, you are absolutely correct. An admired wedding present of the 50's has little interest for a couple today.

classic_ny I have a collection of Towle, Tiffany, Jensen and Wedgwood for which there is little interest at market prices. But that is hardly a reason I should sell Waterford for $25 a glass. Hardly worthwhile, nor do I see it for sale at that price. Since Lucerne has been discontinued, it seems doubtful you will be able to purchase it at that price, although I wish you good luck. Thank you for your interest. Stay safe.
