Watercolor Painting by Belle Stockard Portrait Woman Rose “1913” Framed This is a rendition of this popular pose by a woman smelling a rose. This one is signed by Belle Stockard and says “1913”. I’m not sure if that is the title Of the watercolor painting artwork or the year it was made. The paper is quite delicate & there is a small missing corner piece. There are creases and stains on the paper & looks to be vintage and maybe even antique. I’m not sure on the exact age. Regardless of the flaws or vintage charm as I say, it’s a beautiful portrait & so well done. It would be beautiful on anyone’s wall that appreciates the talent it takes. I believe this to be mixed Media with pencil. I’ve included close ups so you can see the watercolor and paper texture up close.
