Offering a framed, signed print by South Carolina Artist, Virginia Fouche’ Boulton entitled, “Venus, my Friend.” Fouche’ was widely considered to be one of Charleston’s finest artists. She was particularly known for her paintings of cityscapes and people that she saw on the streets. This watercolor depicts, Venus, a Gullah friend of the artist sitting & holding a large sweetgrass basket. This is a print of the original watercolor that was painted in 1988. This nicely framed artpiece measures 14”W X 18”H. It is an awesome estate find in good color & condition with repairable tears to the backing paper (see pics). Questions welcome!
