Walborg Vintage Black and Gold Beaded Evening Bag, $60

This is a stunning Walborg bag! It was made in Hong Kong, which makes this bag from the 1970's? The metal frame is in very nice condition for its age. The bead work is all intact. Same beadwork in front and back. Size: approx. 6" x 6" chain is 15". It can be worn long or double it over to make it shorter. The design is a throwback to Art Deco of the 1930's. I want this gorgeous bag to go to a good home! And I hope you can further dig into its date. Here is what I pulled from web: "Walborg was a company founded by Hilde Weinberg in New York City in the late 1940s. She originally worked as a vice president for a cosmetics manufacturing firm and resigned in 1949 to study the handbag business for eighteen months before establishing her company. Walborg Corp. continued under her ownership until 1971.
