Authentic, original U.S.M.C. Reversible Camo Poncho WW2 USMC CAMOUFLAGE DOUBLE SIDED PONCHO with SNAPS Has green side for jungle wear and tan side for wear on beaches in sand and in dirt. Snaps are in great condition. USMC Stamp on bottom of green side - THE WALKER COMPANY NOV 24 1943 (3 or 5?) U.S.M.C. The stamp is somewhat faded but thru research I learned it was The Walker Company. This poncho was my father-in-laws and kept in his ww2 chest. It is in very good vintage condition - typical marks due to wear and age. Four man-made 1" slits along one snapped side, about a foot apart. I think this was to hold up that side to use poncho as a tent or lean-to. Review pictures for overall condition Measurements Lying Flat / folded as shown Width: 61” by length: 45” as poncho or 90" opened up as tarp or tent. Freshly washed, line dried, packaged as shown. It washed very nicely. It isn’t stiff like so many ponchos of today are. Very heavy duty material.
