tomalee @tdav Oh girl, they are family!!! We have four wooden boxes of ashes on our fireplace to be buried w/ us when we go. All standard poodles. Now we have another standard puppy who has been such a blessing for us. Just list our boy general Patton Jan 14. I have to have a warm furry, not to replace , but to help heal. I have 4 grand dogs, one of which is a pug and she is such a sweetie, she always sleeps with me when I visit. What was ur sweeties name?

I had her nearly 12 years, they were the best 12 years of my life. Awww grand dogs must be wonderful!! : ) My husband has another pug whom was adopted shortly before our unexpected loss, and she is an absolute sweetheart as well. : )

tomalee @tdav Girl, there are no words to explain the feeling, just know I know exactly what u mean :(. You have to be true living giving people and have experienced it first hand to really realize what happens in your heart. I'm talking guy wrenching, screaming, bellowing, wailing. Seriously, those are what I have experienced-nothing consoles you !! Meant gut wrenching. Sorry to put all this on here , I just felt the need to express it. We miss and still cry over each one we've lost. Peaches really fits a sweet Lil pug girl, hope I did not cause you unhappiness or stress, if so I apologize. We share a likeness of heart. Take care. janelleviola @tomalee Oh no it certainly didn't upset me at all darlin! I love to talk about her and the memories. I have her ashes, too. I have the same intentions with hers for the future!! And oh yes, I know exactly what you mean my dear. My peaches passed away in my arms and no one could get me to release her for a very long time. I was inconsolable! I know there are just no words, I'd give anything to have that little girl back. I know that we would all give anything to have our babies back! Fur babies are here for such a short time compared to our lives, i wish more than anything that it wasn't so! But we must cherish every single moment of every single day we have with them : ) it's always nice to find people who truly understand !!

Weather has not cooperated w/her training and she's been soo smart w/the whole thing but she literally wears us out. I'm beginning to wonder "what were we thinking " bringing home a puppy. sassysuzzy @tomalee I'm just glad you are ok. Been concerned about you. I checked in some time ago but never heard back. Now I see why. A PUPPY! Oh Dear Lord Jesus, no wonder you are wore out! LOL. THEY CAN SURE WEAR YOU OUT & THEN LIKE A LITTLE CHILD THEY WILL DO SOMETHING THAT GIVES YOU A GUT LAUGH!! So sweet & loving. So happy that you are well. I probably won't be coming this year to see my Aunt in Dumas as my Mom has cancer & I'm her Caregiver. She's a tough Texan but she will be 89 this month & I don't think I will have her another year. That breaks my heart but I'm making as many memories as I can. When I come you bet believe I will stop & see you my Friend. Take good care of you as you care for the pup. I am in Portland with my husband, I finally got my Mom to come as this is a SWANKY Hotel & she's loving it. I will be home on Friday night so I will measure the shirt for you. It's so darn cute, I can't believe it hasn't sold. Much Love

I was on a sharing spree-and I haven't touched u in a while so you saw what I did. Lol. My poor closet still looks same old same old--I'm still doing mor buying-my addiction, you know. Your closet is fabulous -- you have some beautiful jewelry(another addiction). I had a hard time not "liking" all of it -- I gotta come back shopping. I am drastically reducing my prices because my unemployment expires in 2weeks & I have yet to find a job • finances will be very tight so I these are extras I cannot afford / bummer but that is how it goes . I do know something will come along 💟 I hope you are doing well- your precious pup too!! I know my baby Charley helps me through the days!! tomalee @ej135 Hello there lady, you survive and get thru it-you do not ever get over it. There is no describing the void and feeling of loss that overwhelms you. Enjoy every minute w/ ur baby and don't dwell on what or when. Just know you are giving and receiving love that has no match. Ur right, it's an amazing relationship with these furries and when you describe your feelings for ur precious one , I know exactly what u are talking about. I've been there several times and lost several time, but having known the true love of a furry you keep going back for more of it. Sorry, didn't mean to go on, I love this placque, and I'm going to get it because I love what it says-so true. Give that baby a hug for me and Olivia and keep living in the moment. :)):)),

I visited my friend @scarlettstained yesterday and took a variety of things and visited a little-pretty stressful for them. We live about 25miles not as the crow flies but winding roads, lol, from Mayflower. How are you and Mom doing? Y'all have been iny thoughts and prayers. Tell Mom hello and share a hug from me. sharapost My dogs certainly own me and I create custom paw prints of people's pets and donate to our shelter. I volunteer there and it's just heartbreaking how full they are of great animals who are homeless. They long for you to touch them, love on them or just acknowledge them. It breaks my heart but I will never stop working hard for them. I have amazing dogs that I love so much 3 of them are rescues. I wouldn't trade any of them for anything!

tomalee @sherapost. I LOVE this. Would you mind if I bring this idea to my shelter and someone to photoshop it for a fund raiser for us. We are not a no kill shelter, but the county bring animals there all the time and our shelter cannot turn them away-a rule they must follow. My god- daughter is very talented and uses photo shop for most of her pics. Would love to incorporate this into a fundraising event or add to an existing event. If u do t mind us using your idea. Just let me know, I wouldn't want to use this idea w/out your ok. Thanks so much. marykat @tomalee ❤️ I love my pets so much!!! My kids are also animal lovers. They are grown and have pets of their own but always come over to see the family kids, lol, I had a toy poodle that passed just shy of her 17th birthday😢 Thought I would die, I felt like someone took my heart and crushed it, I remember laying on the kitchen floor for about 8 hours bc I cried myself to sleep. Took me about 10 years to say yes to another pet, now we have a dog and I rescued 2 kittens that are now 2 and 4, Lily our dog is 11 and has gradually gone blind over the past 4 yrs, Opthamologist said she inherited this from mother or father. She's still a very happy healthy dog!!!❤️

tomalee @marykat Hello, this reads about like our corrientes w/our fur babies. We have 4 "grand dogs" living in Ashville. NC.. My daughter calls our furries her brother or sister, depending on what we have at the time. Lol. Don't get to see them as much as would like, but when I'm there, one of them always sleeps w/"Granna". Lol that's me. I have no grand children-probably never will so I'm perfectly content w / furries because that's just the way things are. Olivia is our 5th standard poodle, we are crazy for the breed. We lost one in Dec of 2013, then our last on Jan 2014. I understand exactly how you feel-there is nothing more gut and heart wrenching as when you lose your furry. I have screamed, bellered, shouted and all but pulled my hair out. I say on floor in kitchen leaned against cabinet and wanted to know why can life go on- don't they know my baby is dead. That sounds like I'm nuts, but I bet u know just what I mean. In between poodles and sometimes w / poodles, we have had a German shepherd, red Dobie, sheltie, and 2 smaller poodles. One of which my husband had when we married (35 yrs ago). A poodles and Doberman were house dogs. Hurts w/ each one but the ones you sleep with and assist u w/ ur shower and everything else you do , is the hardest. We are lovers of all animals, but prefer dogs. Had kitties when I was a child. 11 1/2 is as old as we have been able to keep. The little ones live longer as u experienced., but my hubbies went off one night and we believe someone picked him up. Other little on we got from shelter and he died two weeks later w/ parvo. That was a nightmare too. We had gotten so attached in such a short time. Lordy, I gotta hush. Sorry to run on. I'm glad your 11 ur old had adjusted to being blind-it was your heart to see them overcoming the things that plague them and enjoying doing what they do. Hug ALL your babies and charge it to Olivia and me. As you can tell, I always have to have me a warm furry body when I lose one-not to replace any of them, because they all have different personalities , but it helps me to get thru the worst experience describable. I hope we get to chat again-it's been nice to meet another animal lover. I promise I will not write a book Lol. You and your babies have a great weekend. :)):)):)). -

billetking @tomalee What a beautiful post. We have owned and lost a few beautiful souls over the past 30 years. We had Great Danes and Queensland Heelers. Our last Dane died a year and a half ago and we weren't going to get another dog. Well we lasted six months and got our precious Golden Lab. Life is just not the same without a dog. Someone asked me once what my post of my dog had to do with Posh. Really? It's a way to share a part of yourself, to meet new friends, it's a conversation started, it's many things.

There's nothing like having a furry in your life-we love ALL animals-we just personally prefer dogs. I'm so glad you got another furry. I cannot imagine life without my best friend-dog is GOD spelled backwards-I'm just saying:)):)) it's so hard to make some people understand the great pleasure that comes w/furrys. Also hard to describe the heart wrenching feeling when you lose one-that's why I love this saying so much. Oh to be as good a person as a do is :)). I love seeing postings of all the pets-mine is family so it's just no question of if I post just when and how often. Lol. Love me some doggies.
