This gothic romance novel, "WIZARD'S DAUGHTER" begins in the early 1800s, as nearly fatally injured, shipwrecked Captain Jared Vail, washes up on a distant shore. He hears a male voice who asked him if he would grant him a favor for saving his life. He then experienced a myriad of thoughts, as to who or what this unknown voice was. Finally, he agreed to do the voice his favor. It was then that he realized this voice must have been that of a wizard. A little girl is found battered and with amnesia. The only words she can say are the odd words of a song. It was not until she made her debut into society that the words in her song began to have meaning. She and a young man whom she just had met discovered a book from the 1500's. The book was written in a wizard's code. She suddenly realizes she can interpret it.
